He was predeceased by: his parents, Donnie Boykin and Laura Mae Stallings Boykin; his wife Luna "Marie" Strickland Boykin; his granddaughter Brittany Denise Boykin; and his brothers, Clyde Boykin and Wayne Boykin.
He is survived by: his sons, Warren Brent Boykin (Sonya) and Wesley Boykin (Wendy); his grandsons, Nick Boykin and Tyler Whitley; and his brothers, Wilbur Boykin, Vernon Boykin, Thomas "Brooks" Boykin, Jimmy Boykin (Priscilla) and Bobby Boykin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
