We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2024, at the age of 80, William Earl Carlyle Jr. (Knightdale, North Carolina), born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Earl Carlyle and Lily Flood Carlyle. He is survived by : his wife Janet Carlyle; his son Terry Carlyle; his grandchildren, Taylor and Savanah Carlyle; his sister Barbara Debnam; and his nephew Michael Debnam. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory (944 Old Knight Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel (944 Old Knight Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545).
