He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jackson Ellis and Rochelle Creech Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ellis; his son Jim Ellis (Sheila); his grandchildren, Taylor Meier (Jarrett) and Rocco Mazzeo; and his siblings, Dove Ellis and Marie Simmons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
