He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie A. Turnage and Elizabeth Vause Turnage; and his siblings, Donald, Billy, Robert Turnage and Barbara Vasquez.
He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Sill (Tim); his granddaughter Elizabeth Sill; his sisters, Emma Ray (Robin) and Diana Brannan (Fred); and his sister-in-law Debbie Turnage. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted and donations be made in Willie's memory to Transitions LifeCare Hospice, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
