It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maureen Saxton of Knotts Island, North Carolina, who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Maxey and Jim Maxey; and her brother John Maxey. She is survived by: her daughter Paris; her son-in-law Ron; her granddaughter Charlie; her significant other William A. Jeffries, Jr.; her siblings, Kathy (Jim), Mike (Barbara), Danny (Phyllis), Mary (Bill), Liz (Rich) and Peggy (Skip); Maegan, Brandon and Christian. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many wonderful cousins.
