It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Terrence Golladay Sr. of Knotts Island, North Carolina, who passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Jacob Golladay, Sr. and Helone Harlow Grimes; his grandfather Gramp; and his brother Ralph Jacob Golladay, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline; his children, Georgia (John), Richard, Jr., Wanda (Zack), Robert and Theresa (Ben); his siblings, Dennis (Mamie), David (Ski) and Judith; and his caregivers, Kathy and Ashley. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and ten great‑grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dementia Society of America or the Navy‑Marine Corps Relief Society.

“I have to remember the years after I joined the VA Guzzi Club and Dick and Larry ran the breakfasts and local rides. Dick was a great guy and a natural leader. A fine rider too!
