He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Markley and Florence Mabel Markley. He is survived by: his stepchildren, James Robert Baltezegar (Hailey), Trishia Holmes (Oliver) and Megan Collado (Juan); his wife Stephanie Jarrell Markley; his son John Joseph Markley II (Sydnie Lail); his stepchildren, Hailey Baltezegar, Oliver Holmes and Juan Collado; his sister Tanya Bradbury (Dennis); and his grandchildren, August, Nora, Ansley Kate, Gentry James, Adley and Theodore.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kure Beach First Baptist Church (208 S 6th Ave, Kure Beach, NC 28449). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
