She was predeceased by: her husband Fred King; her parents, Claude Wilkins and Lillie Wilkins; her daughter Sheila Ann Perry; her niece Claudia Faye Smith; and her siblings, Gail Smith, Claudette Daughety and Dennis Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Brinson (Anthony) of La Grange and Gilbert Perry (Chrissy) of Charlotte; her grandson Brandon Rouse (Tonya) of Kinston; her great grandchildren, Noah and Ava; her granddaughter Ashley Corpening (Shawn) of Mooresville; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Kailum; her nieces, Mary Smith and Norma Smith of Kinston; her great-niece Jenna Smith Dozier (Tripp) of Newport; her nephews, George Smith, III of Kinston, Zachary Franklin of Goldsboro and Danny Daughety (Jenny) of Kinston; Lilli.
