He was predeceased by: his parents, Maggie Radford and Herman Radford; his mother-in-law Eula Mae Joyner of La Grange; and his siblings, Virginia Vinson of Goldsboro, Joyce Tyndall of Goldsboro, Roberta Watkins of La Grange, Shirley Dail of Beaulaville, Ella Mae Henderson of Beaulaville, Glenn Radford of La Grange, Sydney Radford of La Grange, Ricky Radford of La Grange, Shelton Radford of La Grange and Earl Radford of Goldsboro.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Joyner Radford; his daughters, Kristy L. Radford (Hazel G. Radford) of La Grange and Maggie Mercer (T. C.) of Albertson; his grandchildren, Jag Mercer and Chance Mercer; his siblings, Delores Stallings of La Grange, Carlton Radford (Ercell) of Goldsboro, Herman Radford Jr. (Mae) of Goldsboro and Rodney Radford of Fremont; J'Ceon Bonner and Jayden Bonner. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rouse Funeral Home (108 N Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504).
