He was predeceased by: his mother Linda Summerlin Carter; and his daughter Jessica Carter. He is survived by: his father John Carter (Kathy); his daughter Brittany Lynn Carter; his granddaughters, Sophia and Savannah Williamson; and his siblings, Pamela Carter, Danny Carter (Mary Rose) and Kimberly C. Edwards (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
