He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemuel Jerry Potter Sr. and Gertie Mae Howard Potter; and his sister Dianne Tyndall. He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his sons, Lemuel Jerry "Trey" Potter III (Jennifer) and Brandon Potter (Amy); his grandchildren, Tyler Potter, Luke Potter and Stella Potter; his brother-in-law Keith Tyndall; his niece Stephanie Dawn Tyndall; his brother-in-law JT Lane (Keisha); his niece Brittany Lane; and also Lorree Lee.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Rouse Funeral Home (108 N Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (107 N Forbes St, La Grange, NC 28551).
