He was predeceased by : his parents, Elbert Hezekiah Strickland and Doris Evelyn Lee Strickland; and his brother Eddie Ray Strickland. He is survived by : his wife Janet Pitts Strickland; his daughters, Janice Croom (Sam) and JoAnne McIntosh (Will); his grandchildren, Samantha (Grayson), Matthew, Jack and Nick; and his siblings, Ann Exum, J. M. Strickland, Billy Strickland and Dennis Strickland.
