She is survived by : her husband Ernie Thornton; her children, Tammy Thornton Simon (Bill) and Guy Thornton (Michele); her grandchildren, Steven Talton Simon, Wilson Gabriel Simon, Hannah Nichole Thornton and Lillian Grace Thornton; and her brother-in-law Sylvan Hardy. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
