He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bryan Herring Sr. and Ernestine Darden Herring; and his brother William Bryan "Bill" Herring Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Tabitha Rouse; his grandchildren, Shane West (Faith), Ivey Gomez (Damion), Mila Williams and Remington Rouse; his siblings, Bobby Herring and Barbara Sue Herring; his nieces and nephews, Bryan Herring, Lane Adams, Jimmy Herring, Rachel H. Watkins and Parker Herring; and his close friends, Bob Mooring and Hoyt Bradicich.
