He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Wood and Geneva Smith Wood; his brother Bobby Foss; his great-nephew Charlie Robert Foss; his sister-in-law Mildred Foss; and his friend Charles Sauls.
He is survived by: his pets, Sweetie and Bootsy; his siblings, Emmett Foss Jr., John Foss (Phyllis) and Terry Foss; and his siblings' children, Mandy Foss (Amanda), Matt Foss, Laura Foss, John Foss Jr. (Stephanie), David Foss (Ashley), Bob Foss Jr. (Karen), Joey Foss and Melissa Martin-Wilder. He is also survived by his loving family and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Rouse Funeral Home (108 N Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
