She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel W. Barrow and Sallie Sugg Barrow. She is survived by : her husband Laurie West Speight; her siblings, Lindley Barrow Roberts, Dr. Joe Barrow, Lewis Barrow, Agnes Brock and Drew Barrow; her daughters, Teresa Speight and Pamela Koutavas (Jerry); her siblings, Carol Trammel (Larry) and David Barrow (Margaret); and her sisters-in-law, Faye Jones and Carolyn Barrow. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hull Road Original Free Will Baptist Church, 3984 Hull Road, Snow Hill, NC 28580.
