With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William McLawhorn of La Grange, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William McLawhorn to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mac McLawhorn and Mary Whitford McLawhorn; his sister Sheryl M. Turnage; and his stepfather William E. Nash. He is survived by: his sisters, Donna M. Cheek (R. E. Cheek) and Alice N. Jarman (Michael); and his siblings' children, Adam Turner, Nicholas T. Cheek, Michael J. Jarman and Amanda J. Odom. He is also survived by 13 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Jacksonville, FL, 32256.
