We are sad to announce that, on January 25, 2026, at the age of 82, Mary Burgin of Lake Junaluska, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edward Lindley and Elizabeth Lipe Lindley; her husband William Grady "Bill" Burgin, Jr.; her aunt Edna Lipe; and her brother Charles Lindley (Bill).

She is survived by: her friends, Polly Kelly, Maggie Vess and Locke Kelly; her children, Kathy Lynn Sisk (Tim), Karen Cheryl McLaughlin (Mark) and William Clark Burgin (Leslie); her grandchildren, Haley Turney (Jake), Elizabeth Cananzi (David), Mark McLaughlin, Jr. and Andy McLaughlin; her great grandchildren, Liam Turney, Julia Cananzi, Sophia Cananzi and Noah Turney; her brother Clark Lindley (Betty Ann); her sister-in-law Nancy Burgin Rankin (Terry); her caregivers, Theresa Amissah, Megan Couser and Susie Dickerson; Elizabeth Dupree.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Memory Care, Four Seasons Hospice, or The Foundation for Evangelism.
