He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Spangenburg and Mae Spangenburg; and his siblings, Donald Spangenburg II and Sandra Campanali. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Spangenburg (Langley); his children, Eric Spangenburg of Akron and Sara Hiskey (Spangenburg) of Casper; and his grandson Jack Von Spangenburg of Akron. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their many children.
