With sadness, we share the passing of Barbara Carroll of Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina. Barbara, born on February 12, 1942 in Whiteville, North Carolina, passed away on June 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Simmons and Connie Simmons; and her siblings, Wesley Simmons and Verli Creech. She is survived by: her husband Frank Carroll; her children, Stuart Carroll (Judy) of Lake Waccamaw and Cindy Carroll; her grandchildren, Lindsay Carroll-Kern (Derek), Madison Carroll and Kelsey Carroll; her great grandchildren, Lahna Kern, Tripp Kern, Jaxen Kern, Seylea Kern and Holden Carroll; and her sister Esther Batten of Whiteville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in memory of Barbara to the National Kidney Foundation of the Carolinas.
