She was predeceased by: her parents, Alis Ritchie and Sally Emalene Hart Ritchie; her husband Walt Lyman; her daughter Gina Campbell; and her siblings, Charles Ritchie and Nancy Simmons.
She is survived by: her sons, Chris Lyman (Kristina) and Darin Lyman; her grandchildren, Nikki Watts (Brandan), Caleb Hilton (Josh), Isaiah Lyman, Rachel Lyman (Bobby), Cheyenne Hinson and Amanda Holte (Kasey); and her nieces, Amy Bost (Brant) and Angie Morgan (John). She is also survived by daughters to her; as well as her 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitley’s Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Lawn Memorial Park (1350 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
