We announce the death of Bobbie Kay Brinegar Miller of Lansing, North Carolina, who passed away on November 6, 2026, at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Brinegar and Mattie Cleo Stuart Brinegar; her husband Austin "Coot" Miller; and her siblings, Leonard, Vaughn, Joe, Bill, Pete Brinegar, Ruth Powers and Norma Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Miller (Tina) of Cary, Jeff Miller (Joan Blevins) of Warrensville and Angela Miller (Steve Hare) of Swansboro; her grandson Justin Miller; and her great grandchildren, Caroline, Autumn and Dawson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel (3470 U. S. Hwy 221 N, Jefferson, NC 28640). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.
