He was predeceased by : his parents, Clint'Slick' Lewis and Minnie Jones Lewis. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Shepherd; his sons, Chuck (Saundra) and Kurt (Angie); his grandson Kolton (Paige); his siblings, Mildred and Grant (Linda); his nephews, Jon, Joseph and Kevin; his great-nephews, Clinton and Riley; and his great-niece Annabell. He is also survived by husband and great father, who was always proud of his boys.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Jones Cemetery Fund in care of Loyd Richardson; 636 Joe Badger Road, Warrensville, NC 28693.
