It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Badger of Lansing, North Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Douglas Badger to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his mother Ruth Badger; his wife Evelyn Walls Badger; and his brother Jim Badger. He is survived by : his children, Robbie Badger (Treva) of Benbrook, Kathy Billings (John) of Sparta, Billy Badger (Alicia) of Ronda, Roy Badger (Sarah) of Scottville, Karen Roland (Nathan) of Warrensville, Joe Badger (Jeana) of Lansing and Ruby Thomas (Joe) of Creston; and his siblings, Richard Badger of Supply and Libby Badger Rudersdorf of Jefferson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Children Hospital, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605 or to the Ashe County Democratic Party, PO Box 521, Jefferson, NC 28640.
