Jerry Carpenter Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Carpenter of Lansing, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2026 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerry Carpenter to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Carpenter and Ottie Patrick Carpenter; his granddaughter Megan Marie Carpenter; and his siblings, Betty Sue Carpenter, Wanda Mae Carpenter, Shelby Hartzog and Ernie Carpenter.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Miller Carpenter; his children, Colan Allen Carpenter (Jeanne) of Omaha, Jeremy Worth Carpenter of Lansing and Anna Aliza DeBord (Derek) of Grassy Creek; his siblings, Wilma May of Jefferson, Denver Herman Carpenter (Ann) of Lansing, Charlie Carpenter (Karen) of Warrensville and Dolan Carpenter of Elk Park; his grandchildren, Justin Carpenter, Sarah Carpenter (Garrett Barron), Blylei Blowers (Cody Blevins), Canyon DeBord and Logan DeBord; his great grandchild Liam Barron; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Libby Barron. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
