She was predeceased by : her parents, Dare Woodrow Dickson and Angeline "Betty" Dickson; and her brother Dale Patrick Dickson. She is survived by : her children, Michele Swann of West Jefferson and Jason Dowdy; her daughter-in-law Lori Jeanne Dowdy of Max Meadows, Virginia; and her siblings, Peggy Heslep of Ironto, Virginia and Doug Dickson of Cookeville, Tennessee. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
