She was predeceased by : her parents, William Henry Odum Jr. and Alva Marie York Odum; and her husband Robert Lester Goss. She is survived by : her sons, Joel of Lansing and Sean Goss of Lansing; her sister Leisa Dougherty (Brian) of Weber City, VA; her grandson Rory Goss; her nieces, Lindsey Jennings and Aundrea Rutledge; her nephew Marty Norris; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava, Abby, Trey and Eli; and her granddaughter Bella.

“Sorry to hear about Sharon, Lisa. I saw her on FB and that she was on oxygen and back in Kingsport. I decided to message her and saw this. And this after Phyllis and Larry late last year. I told Jerry that that Rob had died and she had moved back close to you. A little sad that everyone is so spread out and unaware about family, but I guess that's life. I hope you're doing well.”

“My heart hurts for the loss of our friend and classmate at HVHS. We have so many fond memories of Sharon. I have known her, her mom, Marie, and her Dad, Bud, since our childhood.
