We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2025, at the age of 88, Shelby Jean Blevins Stuart (Lansing, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oscar and Blanche Brooks Blevins; her siblings, James Mervin Blevins, Arnold Blevins and Joyce Blevins; her husband Edward Mitchell "Mick" Stuart; her grandson Nicholas Ryan Shepherd; and her son-in-law Archie Mac Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Stuart Miller (Michael) of Lansing, NC. and Lisa Stuart of Lansing, NC.; her granddaughters, Amanda Hodges (Bobby) of Westminster, SC and Laniece Holman (Dustin) of Winnabow, NC; her great grandchildren, Justice Malachi Hodges, Silas Mitchell Hodges, Alexandra Ryann Holman and Emmaline James Holman; and her son-in-law Jerry Shepherd. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the family in care of Ashelawn Memorial Chapel, 3470 US Hwy 221 North, Jefferson, NC.
