He is survived by: his children, Brenton Jay Townsend of Riverside, CA, LaNelle Elaine Blackstone of Jamestown, KY, Julie Ann Bostrom of Riverside, CA and Brandi Lynne Townsend of Laurel Hill; his son-in-law Richard Paul Brown; his siblings, Frank Townsend of Sacramento, CA and Larraine Rice-Townsend of New Mexico; and his grandchildren, Joshua Blackstone, Carolina Blackstone, David Blackstone, Andrew Bostrom, Allyson Lawrence, Carl Townsend and Stephen Avery. He is also survived by loving great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
