It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Douglas Edge Jr. (Laurel Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Douglas "Doug" Edge Sr. and Maxine Stone Edge; and his parents-in-law, James Thomas "JT" Johnson and Betty Johnson. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jaxon, Ashlynn, Maddux, Jonah, Addyson and Bill; his wife Brenda Johnson Edge; his children, Kasie Parker (Roger) and James Fay (Ashley); his brother Steve Edge (Pearline) of Lumberton; his uncles, Donald Edge (Judy) of Wagram, Frank Edge (Martha) of Wagram and Carlton Edge (Sylvia) of Hamlet; his aunt Emily Chiles (Paul) of Ft. Mill, SC; and his pet Ellie.
In lieu of flowers, the Edge family requests that donations be made to Laurel Hill Baptist Church in Bill's memory.
