She was predeceased by: her parents, Eric Vansandt Thomas and Anna Mary Krider Thomas; her brothers, David Ray Thomas and Tommy Van Thomas; and her sisters-in-law, Earlene Thomas and Sissy Thomas.
She is survived by: her siblings, Portia Thomas Byrd (Richard) of Laurinburg and Eric Dean Thomas of Terre Haute, Indiana; her sister-in-law Clydene Thomas; and her family Dorothy Barnes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
