He is survived by: his children, Joe James Locklear (Annette), Kristina Locklear, Iris Overby (Randall), Carmita Jacobs (Joseph), Heather Watson (Richard "Rich") and Leona Roseann Gessler (William); his grandchildren, James Adam, Scott, Tierra, Elizabeth (Ben), Brittane (Christian), Cassandra, Sarah (Daniel), Morgan, Nick (Haylee), Karlyn, Ella, Joseph Carlon, Emily and Ava; his great grandchildren, Noah, Elijah, Olive and Leah; his siblings, Rose Marie McNeill, Glenda Chavis, Deborah Dial, Sam Locklear, C. D. Locklear and Darryl Locklear; and his wife Temple. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
