He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Locklear Haggans; his children, John Prathan Haggans (Kiara Alexis), Tina Michelle Haggans and Heather Danielle Oxendine; his siblings, Larry Haggans of Maxton, Magnolia Gist of Rowland, Carolyn Oxendine of Maxton, Linda Bowman of Laurinburg, Odessa Jones of Pembroke and Barbara Lowery of Maxton; his close friends, Franklin Thomas Brayboy of Laurinburg and Emily Oxendine of Pembroke; and his pets, Nieko, Max, Maui and Maggie. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
