It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford Nelson (Laurinburg, North Carolina), born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on November 10, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Bell Townsend Nelson. He is survived by: his father Clifford Glanwern Nelson; his wife Rev. Linda Blanton Nelson; his sons, Robert Colin Nelson (Kelley) and Andrew Gareth Nelson; and his siblings, David Stuart Nelson (Laura) and Laurie Christine Nelson (Amber).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Glyn's memory to the Lutheran Church of the Living Word, 1925 South Main Street, Laurinburg, NC 28352.

He loved to compose music, had a magnificent voice, he was amazing with his knowledge of so many movies, a wonderful punster and a true gentleman. I felt like he was from another time and place.
