He was predeceased by: his parents, David William Jay and Margaret Gunter Jay. He is survived by: his wife Glenda "Dale" Jay; his sons, Kevin L. Shaw (Stephanie) of Rockingham and Glenn Shaw of Wilmington; his sisters, Donna J. Taylor of Rockingham and Phyllis J. Grant of Rockingham; and his granddaughter Abagail Shaw.
