She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Mullen and Lillian Pierce Mullen; her husband Harvey Ward; her children, Eric Ward, Dennis Michael Ward and Brenda Ward; her great grandchild Nicholas Ward; and her siblings, Daniel Mullen, Lillian Edgar, Darlene Collins, Marion McCarten and Betty Ann Bolton.
She is survived by: her children, Donna, Patrick Ward of Laurinburg, Colleen Bennett (James) of Laurinburg, Mary Paolozzi (Chuck) of Kenley, NC and Sheila Pate (Roger) of Laurinburg; her grandchildren, Daniel Priest, Laura Martin, Jon Priest, Larry Waylon Grooms, Melissa Grooms, Adam Ward, Christopher Paolozzi, Ashley Paolozzi, Brandon Ward, Tinsley Ward, Dylan Ward, Melissa Bennett, Jessica Wood, Kayla Pate-Brown and Sullivan Seller; and her friend Sylvia Polston. She is also survived by thirty-two great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews.
