She was predeceased by : her parents, Sam W. Gentry and Bertha Jackson Gentry; her husbands, James Archie Pate, Sr. and Lawrence P. Chamberlain; her sons, William "Billy" Pate and Robert Chamberlain; her siblings, Samuel Jackson Gentry and Sally Gentry Trawick; and her daughter-in-law Gina Chamberlain.
She is survived by : her children, Debbie Cannon of Wilmington, James Archie Pate, Jr. (Cindy) of Savannah, GA, Michael W. Pate (Marty) of Hoffman, Larry B. Pate (Pat) of Laurel Hill, Keith Gentry Pate (Tammy) of Laurinburg, Donald C. Pate of Laurel Hill, Randy Chamberlain of Laurinburg and Nineteen. She is also survived by Nineteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews.
