Everett Alexander Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, at the age of 83, Everett Alexander Smith of Laurinburg, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Smith, Sr. and Lena Mae Laviner Smith; his wife Linda Faye Carlisle Smith; and his son Thomas Matthew "Matt" Smith. He is survived by: his children, Everette "Alan" Smith (Mary) of Laurinburg, Ronald Smith of Laurinburg and Deborah Sue Chavis of Gibson; his siblings, Clarence Smith, Jr. of Fairmont and Evelyn S. Troublefield of Fairmont; and his grandchildren, Belinda McInnis, Dustin Smith, Abigil Jones, Ronin Smith, Dereck Pruitt, Aarron Chavis, Darron Chavis and Toni Hunt. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; along with a host of loving extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352). Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
