He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Dow and Sally Mauldin Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Stroud Freeman; his children, Jennifer Freeman Lucas (Sean) of Troy and Christopher Freeman of Candor; his sister Melva Dawn Russell; his sister-in-law Patricia Mauldin; and his nephew Larry Wayne Russell of Fayetteville.
