He was predeceased by: his parents, James Malcolm Fields and Shirley Stone Fields Driggers; and his siblings, Richard Fields, Steven Wayne "Bo" Fields, Deanna Fields Spaulding, Sandra "Sandy" English and Maxine Gardner.
He is survived by: his fiancée Hazel Smith; and his siblings, Jeffrey "Stoney" Fields (Marie) of Laurel Hill and Debbie Fields Easterling of Wilmington. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
