He is survived by: his children, Jeanette Strickland of Lumberton, Lizzie Jacobs of Greensboro and Terry Wayne Harmon of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Michele Callazo (Angel) and Christopher Strickland; his sisters, Delois Jacobs Chavis (Laurinburg), Shirley Ray Chavis (Pembroke), Joyce Faggins (New Jersey), Jean Carol Lemonds (Larry) and Ernestine "Tina" Allred; and his friend Horace Pate. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a large circle of friends and family.
