It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia McCormick of Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Franklin Jones and Madge Smith Jones; her husband Donald McCormick; and her siblings, Peggy Barber and Pete Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Winston McCormick Jr. (Beth) and Lisa Dawn McCormick; her sisters, Carolyn Jones Moore (Eddie) and Gerri Jones Holden (Steve); her grandchildren, Amber McCormick Bishop (Mike), Ashley Williams (Delton), Keith Cummings (Kaleena) and Megan Locklear (Cody); her great grandchildren, Kylee Jacobs (Chris), Landon Cummings (Justine), Gracie Chavis, Carter Williams, Cameron Cummings, Lukas Bishop, Dane Bustard, Liam Bishop, Kennedy Cummings, Baylee Williams, Arianna Bustard and Alexis Bustard; and her great great grandchildren, Rylah Jones, Jaisley Cummings, Addie Jacobs, Colter Jacobs and Landrie Cummings. She is also survived by her loving extended family and many friends.
