She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottie Rueben Woody and Pearl Eugenia Bailey Woody; her husband Rev. Elbert Emory Franklin; her daughters, Mary Ruth Cooper and Lois Eugenia Dyer; her siblings, James Woody, William Woody and Evelyn Serna; and her sons-in-law, Rev. Carroll Griffin and Rev. Benny Phillips.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Franklin (Cheryl) of Cornelia, GA, Rev. Lou Franklin (Patsy) of Cornelia, GA, Evelyn Kaye Holcombe (Jerry) of Burnsville, Nancy Higgins (Gene) of Wagram, Debbie Cooper (Edmond) of Wagram and Kimberly Griffin of Dry Fork, VA; her sons-in-law, Rev. Ellis Cooper of Laurinburg and Rev. Larry Dyer of Ila, GA; and her caregiver Kenya "Kim" Smith. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
