He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Hoffman and Helen DuBoise Hoffman; his stepson Timothy Scott Basher; and his brother Robert Hoffman. He is survived by : his wife Eilleen Hoffman; his daughter Patricia "Patty" Ann Hoffman of Florida; and his granddaughter Breanna Hoffman. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
