Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Laura Lassiter (Laurinburg, North Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 77, on January 5, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Epting Lloyd, Sr. and Madeline Felica McCall Lloyd; her daughters-in-law, Joy Lynn Rose Lassiter and Christine Marie Kerns Lassiter; and her sister Martha Josephine Lloyd.

She is survived by : her husband Joseph "Joe" Howard Lassiter; her sons, Dustin Howard Lassiter (Susan) of Pineville and Michael Lloyd Lassiter (Deirdre Gordon) of Holly Springs; her brother Arthur E. Lloyd, Jr. of Laurinburg; and her grandchildren, Amber Bishop (Mike), Ashley Williams (Delton), Haley Lauren Lassiter, Heather Michele Lassiter, John Michael Lassiter, William Ryan Lassiter and Meghan Rose Lassiter. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The family requests donations be given in memory of Kitty to the Humane Society of Scotland County, 1404 West Boulevard, Laurinburg, NC 28352.
