She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Webb Land and Jane Pullen Land; her siblings, Dr. John Land, Jane Kimbro and Bettie Land; and her niece Lindsey Kimbro Tuttle.

She is survived by : her husband James L. Sutherland III; her son James "Jamie" L. Sutherland IV (Debra) of Laurinburg; and her grandchildren, Ashleigh Bailey, McKenna Sutherland and Cooper Sutherland.

Memorial donations are requested to be made to Scotland Regional Hospice, Post Office Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
