He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Taft and Norma Roberts Taft; his wife Eleanor "Ellie" Taft; and his siblings, Mavis Mettey of Granville, NY and Edmond Taft of Manchester, VT..
He is survived by: his siblings, Janis Ferenc (Paul) of Dorset, VT, Janet Waite (Bruce) of Dorset, VT, Shirley Casey (David) of Dorset, VT and Bradley Taft of Holland, MI; his sister-in-law Janet McCory; and his grandchildren, Christopher Kapusta, Cody Taft (Cara), Calliegh Taft, Sadie Taft, Brett Taft (Laura Elizabeth) and Kristin Taft. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
