It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Hardy Moore (Laurinburg, North Carolina), who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Dale Hardy and Vera Wilks Hardy; her husband Wilson Brevard Moore; her sister Bonnie Hardy Tippett; and her great grandchild Ty Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Moore of Laurinburg, NC and Cindy M. Bacot (Bernie) of Laurinburg, NC; her brother Mickey Hardy of Laurinburg, NC; her grandchildren, Bryan Hardee, Ashley Gibson, Brooke Carter and Mary Moore Bender; and her stepgrandchildren, Amy Bacot and Derek Bacot.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Scotland County Humane Society 1401 West Blvd. Laurinburg, NC 28352.
