He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Ray Jones of Maxton, Chad Chavis (Diana) of Laurinburg and Ashley Chavis Davis (Bo) of Laurinburg; his sister Teresa Southerland of Wilmington; and his grandchildren, Anthony Chavis, Madison Pate, Paige Pate and Zeb Thunder Chavis.
