He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Cummings and Novella Tyler Cummings; and his siblings, Harley Cummings, Rufus Cummings, Jr., Edward Cummings, Kenneth Cummings, Eva Gladys Bordo and Geneva Bullard.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Bullard Cummings; his children, Stanley Cummings of Carthage, NC, Sandra C. Chance (Johnny Chance) of Fayetteville, NC and Brenda C. Bullard (Johnny Bullard) of Aberdeen, NC; and his brother Rev. James Cummings of Aberdeen, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
